A strange theme for this week: Human flight. A little girl in Taiwan, Black Lives Matter PSA for the Deaf community, COVID news, Channing Tatum's first children's book.
For the second week in a row, the parenting blogosphere was more focused on celebrity news and baby announcements than the eternal angst of pandemic parenting.
You know things are going back to normal (at least a little) when the stories dominating the playground involve a mom pulling her kid out of preschool because they wouldn't let her son wear nail polish.
Unless you count parents being assaulted or murdered while their kids are at home, or celebrities having more babies (I won't plague you with the details on these), the big news this week is the selection of Kamala Harris as Joe Biden's running mate.
